Caregiver Responsibilities & Scope of Care

Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Household Support: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a safe home environment.
Health Monitoring: Provide medication reminders (non-medical) and monitor client safety and well-being.
Transportation: Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to and from medical appointments.
Companionship: Offer emotional support and engagement to reduce isolation and promote independence.
Professionalism: Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the office team regarding client updates.

Caregiver Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of one year of eldercare, caregiving, or healthcare experience preferred.
Reliability: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check is required.
Physical Ability: Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers, and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
Professionalism: A compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
Independence: Strong time-management skills and the ability to follow established care plans independently.
