Caregiver Responsibilities & Scope of Care

• Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Household Support: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a safe home environment.
• Health Monitoring: Provide medication reminders (non-medical) and monitor client safety and well-being.
• Transportation: Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to and from medical appointments.
• Companionship: Offer emotional support and engagement to reduce isolation and promote independence.
• Professionalism: Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the office team regarding client updates.

Caregiver Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of one year of eldercare, caregiving, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Reliability: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
• Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check is required.
• Physical Ability: Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers, and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
• Professionalism: A compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Independence: Strong time-management skills and the ability to follow established care plans independently.

Compensation & Career Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Hourly rates ranging from $16.00 to $18.00, with starting rates based on experience and availability.
