The Caring Connection began providing seniors of Bethlehem, PA with non-medical home care in 1991.  Our founder, Nan Van Gieson, discovered the need for compassionate home care while caring for her ill parents at home.  As a result of her experience, Nan decided it was time The Lehigh Valley had a reliable in home care agency.  Nan had previously worked with The Red Cross’ elderly program as well as being the former Director of Elderwell.

Today, The Caring Connection is owned and operated by Wellope Williams. Wellope joined The Caring Connection as a Direct Care Worker in 1995 and was promoted to the position of Care Coordinator shortly after.  In 2001, she became sole owner of The Caring Connection in Bethlehem, PA.  Prior to joining The Caring Connection, Wellope worked in Physical Therapy and Pulmonary Medicine departments of Easton Hospital. More importantly, she worked in the secured dementia unit at a local facility. With 35 years of experience in the Senior Care/Healthcare field, Wellope has made it her priority to provide seniors with a better homecare choice.
